Teen Internship 2025
Help make a difference in the city
Source is looking for teens that desire to be a part of a paid summer internship involving community service and outreach. The internship will involve working alongside staff at the Source MN food shelf, as well as supporting our other programs. Interns will be involved in food distributions at various locations in the community, bagging and sorting produce, grocery delivery to the disabled and elderly, light landscaping projects, as well as building upkeep and cleaning.
The internship is designed to build entry-level job skills by working with the Source MN team, receiving direction from supervisors, learning customer service skills, working on a team, and working diligently and efficiently. Interns also have the opportunity to learn from the values and experiences of Source staff and other community leaders. Interns will have opportunities to process the internship experience with staff weekly. This Internship is 20 hours per week, for 8 weeks: June 24 to Aug 15, 2025. Hours will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays each week.
Interns are expected to be able to communicate, arrive on time, report hours, follow directions, be respectful, dress appropriately for the task, and perform some physical labor.
