Much of the Latino Community is concerned and fearful of being in public and coming to receive groceries. We are trying to organize volunteer drivers on short notice to help deliver or give rides home. We have pivoted and in addition to our food shelf we have begun to weekly resource 600-1,000 home deliveries through volunteer drivers and mobile pop-ups at local churches and organizations. We typically average 100 volunteer hours weekly through many Latino Volunteers who most are currently afraid to leave their homes.

Increased help is needed to support our community:

Volunteer Food Deliveries & Packing
Supportive & Emergency Housing (email info [at] sourcemn [dot] org)
Donations for increased food, legal fees & rent support.

Need Food or Know Someone Who Does?

Request food for yourself or for your school or church network.

For your own home: Come to food shelf Tues. 9am-12pm or request delivery at info [at] sourcemn [dot] org
We cannot guarantee delivery of food. Deliveries are dependent on location, volunteers and supplies. Our weekly list will roll over to the following week only if a home was not delivered to in current week. Please send requests each week.

Source can supply food for 1-5 families you are connected to and will deliver. Come during delivery times listed above.

Network of 10-100 homes your church/organization is connected with and will recruit drivers to distribute. Please email us at info [at] sourcemn [dot] org to arrange best option:

    • Drivers may be able to come directly to the Source Community Center to get groceries for families.
    • Mobile Pop-Up: Organization comes and gets food to take to their own location to distribute to volunteer drivers.
Note: Source’s cost for groceries is approximately $20/family. Any help with the cost is appreciated and allows us to continue to meet the growing need.

DISCLAIMER:
– Deliveries and groceries are a limited supply and depends on volunteer drivers. If we are not able to deliver in the current week, we will be attempt to put families on the top of the list for the following week.
– Both the drivers and the food clients are participating at their own risk. Source is not responsible for safe transportation.
We have a lot of ways to get plugged in! Join us for food shelf distributions, food shelf prep, cooking classes, Latino Outreach, community meal, Bible study, service projects, summer homeless outreach, and more!
