One-Week Intensive Followed by an Optional Internship Training:
Outreach, Teaching, Mentoring, Site-Visits, Equipping and Empowering
Learn from seasoned ministry leaders, get activated and equipped in kingdom outreach, serve in the one of the most cross-cultural neighborhoods in the nation (100 languages in 1.5 miles), impact the community still recovering from the the 2020 unrest, and make life long differences in others and yourself.

Source is located in one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the nation – 100 Languages within 1.5 miles, Poverty & Homeless Encampments, and Mpls Institute of Art. Also made infamous for being the epicenter of the Minneapolis 2020 unrest and has been serving this community for over 30 years.
Food & Prayer: We are the people that feed you and pray for you. Healthy food and the Good News.
- $3.5 Million of food relief (25,000 family visits) annually,
- 800 1st time commitments to follow Christ (2020-2025),
- 30-50 homeless and immigrant women at Women’s Drop-In weekly.
Source Programs Include: Food Shelf & Meals, Homeless Outreach, Women’s Drop-In & Supportive Housing, Teen Internships, Immigrant/Refugee Housing, Latino Family Outreach, Alpha, ESL, Homeless Youth (Rainbow) National Outreach, Fallout Arts Initiative, Source International Trips and Source Soccer Academy.

We believe that God wants to awaken the hearts of His people to both experience and release the fullness of His goodness within our city – nation – & world.
We’re calling people from around our state, nation and world to come to Minneapolis for a 1-week Urban Ministry Training Intensive followed by an optional Summer Internship focused on hands on experience, outreach and mentorship.
Partnering with local pastors and outreach workers, we will be doing prayer walks and worship times, going on site to strategic locations, participating in service projects, meeting practical needs, and reaching out to those who are hurting from a year of trauma that is still ongoing.

– George Floyd Square & E Lake Street Prayer Walk
– Service Projects for the Poor
– Spiritual Warfare 101
– Leadership & Character Development
– How to Persevere while Reaching out and Living Amongst the Marginalized
No experience necessary. Participants must be 18 years or older unless accompanied by an adult and with the permission of their legal guardian.
One-Week Intensive Followed by an Optional Internship Training:

1-WEEK INTENSIVE
The week will truly be an intensive as individuals participate in a variety of experiences and learn from leaders with decades of experiences. You won’t just hear stories in a class room but experience equipping and be empowered by participating on outreach teams, goto the people, prayer, worship, site-visits and interactive processing.
Optional 7-WEEK INTERNSHIP
Those who attend the intensive can continue on for our 7 week internship where we will dive deeper into kingdom ministry training and continue ongoing outreach in our community.

3) Poverty / National Homeless Youth Outreach
After the intensive Interns will continue be part of the outreach teams and participate in weekly times of teaching, processing, prayer and mentoring with a Source staff member. Each intern will select a focus during the 7 weeks and have an emphasis with those teams.
1) Anti-Trafficking / At-Risk Women
– Women’s Center, Drop-In, *Beloved Dance Club Outreach, Homeless & Immigrant Women, Women’s Alpha, Supportive Housing Program
2) Immigrant / Cross-Cultural Missions or
– Latino Family Outreach, Immigrant Housing, ESL, Community Meal and Bible Study, Lefuente Latino Church Plant, Childrens Outreach, Source Soccer Academy
3) Poverty / National Homeless Youth Outreach
– Food security and family stability, local homeless and homeless youth outreach, teen internships, National Homeless Youth Outreach (June 23 – July 5: Jesus Kitchen at counter cultural festival with 1,000’s – Backwoods Camping).
