Source Specific Prayers

January 2010 update:

Source enters 2010 in the midst of alot of transition. As we re-calibrate our compasses for what is ahead, our heart is to go forward and be following God's leadings. "Come let us return unto the Lord" is a Kevin Prosh worship song that embraces crying out to God to first be with Him, seek intimacy with the father, and call out for his healing touch. We desire for the Holy Spirit to fill us up and believe there is a deep well he has for us. All our outreach and initiatives need to come from a community that is filled with God and overflowing onto all those that we touch.

We enter 2010 after needing to cut back on outreach and transitional homes programing. God has lead several staff and core families in other directions as well. Please be praying for this year as we gather new laborers to be part of Source. Pray for volunteers, staff, and individuals that desire to make Source their home and family to be part of the Merge Church expression. Pray for discernment on how to run programs at lower capacity and strength and wisdom for our core leaders as well. Pray for some much needed restoration during the beginning of 2010 as we prepare for the new season God has for us.

- Merge Church: a core group of those he is calling to call Source Home and family to be part of planting with us in this new season - new season of gathering in homes, training, and raising up leaders

- Lost; Salvation, revelation, and conviction
- Lambs: Prodigals that need a family and home to grow
- Least of these: Marginalized, Homeless & At-Risk young people,

- Source outreach, arts, and transitional homes: - Expanding the Network of Source (We're looking to share the Source story with new contacts: individuals, foundations, and mission boards)

- Continue to pray for the 15 month goal (2010 year end), of $150,000 of new donations (we currently are at nearly 50%).

- 2010 income generating programs: We will still attempt to see some of these initiatives happen, but reduction of key staff puts their success in danger.

- Running programs at limited capacity (taking up the slack - wisdom and discernment on future decisions)

- Transitional Homes: Men's and Women's communities (Leaders, Nurturers, and Interim tenants)

- Jobs for Transitional Homes Residents

- Life Skill program budget be restored
